THE WAR ZONE. WAR, IS AN ADVENTURE... THE ULTIMATE ADVENTURE.
 
I had originally intended to call this collection of short war stories the “WAR ZONE” inspired by idea of the “TWILIGHT ZONE” one of my favorite short story formats of all times. I love the irony and the twisted unexpected ends and of course war always makes for good story. War is the ultimate human adventure.
 
Often I will get asked why do I use the war theme so often in my work and whether I’m a war buff. Actually it is a lot simpler than that; I’m an artist and a storyteller. I love good stories and I loke telling them with pictures, and a war -any war- has everything and always makes for a good story and compelling graphics. Besides the fact that for as long as there has been recorded history (and most likely before that) to the present day and perhaps forever, war seems to be an intricate part of who we are as the human race. So unless we change into a new state of conscience -hopefully before it is too late- war is here to stay. War is the ultimate adventure and the ultimate human drama… and war most of all is nothing less than the ultimate irony of a lesson never learned.
 
To make the story short, here are a series of short stories in different places and times in history imaginary and otherwise.  Every story with its own unique graphic style –a ride in and of itself- it’s own drama, irony… and of course always with a twisted end. So welcome to the ultimate journey…
